Ghulam Mustafa Qasmi

Ghulam Mustafa Qasmi (urdu)(علامه غلام مصطفي قاسمي) was a scholar and activist from Sindh, Pakistan (1916 - 2003 AD). He was a freedom fighter, Sindhi language translator, and a scholar of Shah Waliullahi philosophy.

He wrote, compiled and translated books on various topics of religion and Islamic culture from Arabic and Persian into the Sindhi language. He also translated books of shah wali allah dehlvi, and Allama Makhdoom Muhammad Hashim Thattvi, and compiled various scholarly works of different scholars. He wrote prefaces to about 200 religious, historical, and literary books, and worked on Sindhi dictionarys. The university of Sindh established a chair in the name of Allama Ghulam Mustafa Qasmi in July 2004. So far this chair has published 7 books in Urdu and Sindhi.
